The operator of this website attaches the highest importance to the protection of the privacy of its website visitors - hereinafter referred to as users. Definitions

This privacy policy uses legal terms defined in Art. 4 GDPR. Personal data is therefore all information that relates to at least an identifiable natural person (Art. 4 No. 1 GDPR). The term "processing" encompasses every conceivable type of use in connection with personal data (Art. 4 No. 2 GDPR), i.e. from collection to destruction.

Data processing when website is accessed

This website is hosted by a German web host, the company Porombka GmbH, Kauffunger Weg 8, 42699 Solingen. The web host must also comply with the EU DGSVO as well as all other data protection laws or regulations of a data protection nature applicable in the member states of the EU. The operator of this website has also concluded a contract with the web host for data processing on behalf of the web host. This is a contract in which the web host undertakes to protect the transmitted data, to process it on behalf of the operator of this website in accordance with the data protection regulations and, in particular, not to pass it on to third parties.

Every time the website is accessed, data is recorded and stored in the log files of the server and the web application. The following usage data is collected: Internet Protocol address (IP address) of the user, date and time of the call, the request, the response status (HTTP status code), URL of the website through which the call to the current website or file came (referer), browser type and version as well as the user's operating system.

The log files are stored in order to ensure the functionality of the website. In addition, the data is used for statistical evaluations to optimize the website in the interest of the user and to ensure the security and stability of the information technology systems. The data processing is carried out on the basis of legitimate interests within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f.) DGSVO. The operator of this website guarantees that the data will not be merged with other data sources. The log files are stored separately from the user's personal data, which is collected via form entries. The deletion of the log files is carried out according to general principles (see "General information on the deletion of data").

Data processing by cookies

This website uses so-called "cookies". Cookies are small text files that are stored on the operator's web server or the user's platform (PC, tablet, smartphone, etc.) and contain data that allows the website to recognize and identify the user's internet browser.

This website only uses cookies that are necessary for the operation of the website. These cookies are stored on the user's platform for the duration of the visit to the website and are regularly deleted automatically as soon as the user closes the browser (so-called session cookies). In such a cookie, a characteristic string of characters is stored as the only piece of information that enables the browser to be uniquely identified when the website is called up again (so-called session ID).

Data processing via cookies is carried out on the basis of legitimate interests within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f.) DGSVO. The user can prevent or limit the storage of cookies at any time via the appropriate settings of his internet browser. Cookies that have already been stored can be deleted at any time via the Internet browser. The operator points out that this option may limit the usability of the website.

Data Processing by JavaScript Libraries

This website uses Java script libraries from external vendors. The use of JavaScript libraries makes the usability of individual functionalities of this website possible in the first place, which in turn makes it easier for the user to use this website.

It cannot be ruled out that personal data will be transmitted to external providers by accessing the website. The data processing is carried out on the basis of legitimate interests within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f.) DGSVO. Users can prevent the transfer by installing a JavaScript blocker such as the browser plugin "NoScript" (https://noscript.net/) or by deactivating JavaScript through browser settings. The operator points out that this option may limit the usability of the website.

General information on the deletion of data

Personenbezogene Daten werden grundsätzlich unverzüglich nach Erfüllung des Aufbewahrungszwecks gelöscht, soweit die gesetzlichen Aufbewahrungsfristen keine verlängerte Aufbewahrung festschreiben (vgl. §§ 257 Abs. 1 HGB: 6 Jahre, 147 Abs. 1 AO: 10 Jahre) oder die Aufbewahrung zu Beweiszwecken erforderlich ist. Die ordnungsgemäße Löschung wird in einem jährlichen Turnus überprüft. Sofern die Daten nicht gelöscht werden, weil sie für andere und gesetzlich zulässige Zwecke erforderlich sind, wird deren Verarbeitung eingeschränkt.

Operator's security measures

In accordance with Art. 32 DGSVO, the Operator shall take appropriate organisational, contractual and technical measures on an ongoing basis, taking into account the state of the art, the implementation costs and the type, scope, circumstances and purposes of the data processing as well as the different probability of occurrence and severity of the risk to the rights and freedoms of the data subjects, in order to ensure that the data protection provisions are complied with and protect the data that is the subject of data processing against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons. The operator has already taken the protection of personal data into account during the technical development and design of the website (Art. 25 DGSVO). The security measures include, in particular, the encrypted transmission of data between the user's browser and the operator's server.

Rights of the user

The user has the right to request information at any time as to whether and which personal data of the user is being processed (Art. 15 DGSVO). Upon request, the user's personal data must be provided in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (Art. 20 DGSVO).

Furthermore, the user has the right to rectification of incorrect personal data or completion of incomplete personal data (Art. 16 DGSVO) as well as - under the conditions of Art. 18 DGSVO - the right to restriction of processing.

Unless the processing is necessary for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, the user may also request the deletion of his or her personal data (Art. 17 DGSVO).

Consent to data processing within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 a), 7 DGSVO can be revoked by the user at any time with effect for the future. If the data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f.) DGSVO, the user may object to data processing with effect for the future, unless the operator can prove compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that outweigh the interests, rights and freedoms of the user, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims of the operator of the website (Art. 21 DGSVO).

If the user believes that the processing of their personal data violates data protection regulations, they may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (Art. 77 DGSVO).The supervisory authority responsible for the operator is the State Commissioner for Data Protection North Rhine-Westphalia, Kavalleriestraße 2-4, 40213 Düsseldorf.
